Greetings, earthlings! My name is Haley Miller, and I will be teaching English I and II this year. I received my B.A. degree in Literature at the University of Houston - Clear Lake. (Go Hawks!) This will be my first year at Santa Fe High School and my third year as a high school English teacher. I am excited to join such a tight-knit community and look forward to the many opportunities that Santa Fe has to offer. I am originally from Texas City, so although I am not a native to Santa Fe, I am very familiar with the community. 

As an educator, I place great importance upon literacy and the infinite world that novels offer us. I hope to share my love of reading with my students, as reading is a way to help us better understand ourselves and the world around us.

I very much value communication with parents. As a parent myself, I believe parental involvement in a student's education is key to obtaining success.
