- All class assignments will be in canvas.
- When a student is absent, this is their go to source to find out what they missed in class.
- If an assignment cannot be completed at home, they will have the number of days that they were absent to make up the assignment once they return to campus (example: labs, quizzes, test etc)

What is Astronomy?

- Astronomy is going to be an extremely interactive, fun and engaging class.
- We will be learning about the stars, moon, sun, planets and so much more.
- This class will use a lot of collaboration and group work and will require students to be able to work together to solve problems.
- Throughout the course, students will learn how scientists work to analyze evidence through a scientific approach.
- This course is designed to give you the background and skills to prepare you for more advanced understanding of the universe.
