"Welcome to Hertenberger first grade classroom."

We have lots of fun and exciting things coming up this year and I can't wait to share the love of learning with your children.  I would like to share a little about myself with you as we begin our journey into this awesome year.  I graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1991, later I graduated from University of Clear Lake in 1997 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have taught second grade for twenty two years and I am married to Clay Hertenberger who is a member of the SFISD School Board. We have amazing three sons who are all graduates from Texas A&M University. My oldest son Cole is 26 and has his Master's Degree in the Maritime Industry, and a great job in Houston.  My middle son Bryce is 25 years old and was accepted into May's Business School, graduated last year with a Master's degree in Finance from Texas A&M University, College Station.  He is now working in downtown Houston for Frost Bank.   My youngest is 22 years old and a graduate from Texas A&M University, May 2025 with a Bachelor's of Science degree. He is now looking for a job in the film and movie industry.
