Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!

My name is Pamela Lausch (pronounced "law-sh") and I am the 6th Grade Green Team Science Teacher.  I am married to a Santa Fe native (John), and we have a SFHS Class of '22 graduate (Christopher) and a Freshman at SFHS (Katy) this year.  I got my Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies (teaching!) from Western Governors University in 2015 when I was certified to teach EC-6, and in 2021 I earned my certification to teach 4-8 Math and Science.  This is my 10th year in education, and I am proud to be working in my hometown!

Homework

I do not assign homework on a regular basis. If you do not complete an assignment during class for any reason, it becomes homework.  If you do not understand, please let me know so I can help.

Contact Information

I am the 6th grade Science Team lead as well as the 6th grade Green Team lead, so I am happy to serve as your contact person if you have any questions.  Please reach out to me anytime - I am here for your kiddo!  I will respond as quickly as possible between the hours of 7 AM and 4PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibility

Please encourage your student to always advocate for themselves. If they do not understand something, please ask for help. If they are embarrassed, we can talk about other ways of getting the assistance they need such as writing their questions down or asking outside of class time. If your student is absent or missing assignments, have your student come to me for information. I am happy to assist parents, but I expect each student to take responsibility for themselves first.
