Hello everyone! This will be my 19th year teaching science and the beginning of my 16th year at Santa Fe Junior High. I currently teach 6th and 8th graders. I grew up in South Texas in a town called Harlingen. I graduated from UT Brownsville with a bachelor's in Biology. The reason why I became a teacher is because I have always enjoyed learning and teaching others. I love science and being able to do hands-on activities. My goal is to help students understand science and enjoy coming to school every day.
