Parents must agree for their child to read YA(young adult) literature. A parent agreeing must sign an approval form. Students have been taught self-censorship and that they need parental permission.

Help our school by saving your BOXTOPS. Just collect and send them to the library.

SFJH library encourages all students to utilize the library to complete their assignments, study for tests, read,

play chess or participate in Maker Spaces. Each of these activities require concentration,

therefore only the slightest of whispers are expected.

Check Out Policy:

Bunde READ.JPG

My name is Susan Bunde and have been librarian

at SFJH for the past 11 years. I obtained my

Bachelor of Arts from Texas Lutheran University

and a M.Ed. from UH Clear Lake.

My treasured moments in education

are when former or currents students

recall a classroom memory or discuss an incredible book.
