Dear 3rd Grade Families,

Welcome to 3rd grade! I’m so excited to begin this new school year with you and your child. My name is Mrs. Guillen, and I’ll be your child’s teacher this year. Our classroom will also host our wonderful intern, Erikah Bertolasio, from Stephen F. Austin State University!! We feel honored to be part of your child’s learning journey, and are looking forward to a year full of growth, curiosity, and fun!

This year, your child will build on their reading, writing, and math skills, explore new topics in science and social studies, and develop important social and emotional skills that help them grow as a learner and friend. We’ll also be working on building independence, responsibility, and confidence.

Communication is very important to me. I will send regular updates through ParentSquare, and you’re always welcome to reach out with any questions or concerns.
