WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My name is Lorae Honings and I super excited to begin teaching my 21st year of Math!!!  In December of 1998, I graduated cum laude from the University of Houston with a BS in Chemistry and a minor in Math.  I worked as a Chemist for 10 years in a chemical plant in Bayport.  After my son, Colton, was born I made a major career change; I became a junior high math teacher and this was one of the BEST decisions that I have ever made!

I have 2 gentle-giant dogs, Osiris and Thor.  I also have 2 cats, Cinder and Ash and they keep the dogs in check!!  In my spare time I like to read, work on several counted-cross stitch projects and spend time with my son.  My son, Colton, will be beginning his Junior year of college at the University of Houston - Clear Lake where he will be majoring in History.

When you have questions or concerns, please reach out to me so that we can work together to find solutions.  The best way to reach me is via email, lorae.honings@sfisd,org, or you can call me, 409-925-9353, and leave a message so that I can get back to you after school is out for the day.
