WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My name is Lorae Honings and I super excited to begin teaching my 24th year of Math!!! In December of 1998, I graduated cum laude from the University of Houston with a BS in Chemistry and a minor in Math. I worked as a Chemist for 10 years in a chemical plant in Bayport. After my son, Colton, was born I made a major career change; I became a junior high math teacher and this was one of the BEST decisions that I have ever made!
I have 1 gentle-giant dog, Osiris. I also have 2 cats, Cinder and Ash and they keep the dog in check!! In my spare time I like to read, work on several counted-cross stitch projects and spend time with my son. In May, my son, Colton, graduated from college at the University of Houston - Clear Lake with a BA in History.
When you have questions or concerns, please reach out to me so that we can work together to find solutions. The best way to reach me is via email, lorae.honings@sfisd,org, or you can call me, 409-925-9353, and leave a message so that I can get back to you after school is out for the day.
