ABOUT ME:

I am a fourth generation Santa Fe resident and in High School I showed pigs, competed in Senior Creed Speaking and served as Vice President of The Santa Fe FFA Chapter my senior year before graduating in 2009. It is a dream come true to return to my home chapter and "Live to Serve"!

I currently teach Ag Mech and Ag Structures Design and Fabrication. I am also an FFA Advisor in which I supervise the market swine, market poultry and agricultural mechanics projects, and train the Chapter Conducting Teams.

I graduated from Texas A&M University in May of 2016 with a B.S. in Agricultural Science. My junior and senior year I served as president of Future Agricultural Science Teachers and received both the Outstanding Junior Award and Outstanding Non-Traditional Student Award from the Department of Agriculture Leadership, Education and Communication.

I married my beautiful wife Amber in September of 2013 and we have three dogs, Patch a Blue Heeler, Reba a Red Heeler and Reba's son Chief. In my spare time I enjoy Fighting Texas Aggie Athletics (WHOOP!), hunting, fishing and shooting sports.

Agricultural education helped shape my future and is a big part of who I am today. I look forward to the many opportunities ahead of me to impact young people and be a part of solving our greatest agricultural challenges.
