I am a proud 2015 graduate of Santa Fe High School! This theatre is very special to me as it is where I made some of my best friends and gotten to experience some crazy adventures! My husband even proposed to me in our auditorium that we ourselves spent many years together performing on. Working in the auditorium during the summers, competing in one-act play competitions, and serving as our Thespian Troupes President are just a few other special memories I have as a student in our beautiful home. I also was involved in student council, choir, and National Honor Society. Go Indians!
After graduation I attended Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. I loved my time as a bobcat where I studied Business Management. At Texas State I was a Lead Peer mentor for freshman students, helping them get accustomed to campus, find resources, and grow to their fullest potential. I also was a member of the Student Foundation, and McCoy College of Business Ambassadors. I graduated with honors in May of 2018, and following tradition I jumped into the river! Eat Em' Up, Eat Em' Up, Go Cats Go!
For the past 10 years I have volunteered with Farpoint Theatre, a 5-01(c)3 Non-profit organization, helping bring educational children's theatre to the Bay Area. In 2015, I became the Director of Children's Theatre. With the help of my wonderful team, we are able to conduct a 2 week long summer drama camp, and weekend Holiday Extravaganza every year. By teaching daily lessons to students ages 4-18, we are able to create a full production in our short time together. I am constantly adding new things to our program, and talking to community members on how our organization can be more involved. Working with children through the creative arts has always been my passion. Through team building, leadership, and self confidence, I hope to impact the next generation of artists.
When I am not in the theatre, I enjoy hanging out with my family on the boat, swimming, watching netflix, and watching my husband coach softball. I love watching football and baseball. My favorite TV shows are Schitts Creek, Good Girls, Madame Secretary, The Office, Parks & Rec, and Greys Anatomy! I love to quote movies and the shows that we do, so be ready for random dialogue that only makes sense to me. I have 2 younger siblings one of which is a senior here at SFHS and one who just graduated. I also have 2 cute but crazy dogs and my baby, our cat Remy! I can't wait to get to know each and every one of you this year!
So Say We ALL....
