Students today are interested in careers in law enforcement, forensics, homeland security, law, investigations, corrections and dispatching, to name just a few. The Law, Public Safety, Correction and Security Cluster has all this and more! According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the forecast for the homeland security industry is growth from $40 billion in 2004 to $180 billion in 2015. Since many of the personnel for homeland security positions are recruited from existing cluster occupations, the result will be an increasing growth in jobs. There are five pathways under the Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security Cluster:
