Hello, my name is Sonia Falou and I am teaching English IV and French I this year. I graduated with  BA in French and English Education from Louisiana Tech University.  I spent my junior year of college studying in Angers, France. I am originally from Alexandria, Louisiana and have taught in Louisiana, Wisconsin, and Texas (Friendswood, CCISD, and Santa Fe). The 2020-2021 school year will be my 23rd year as a classroom teacher and my 17th year in total at Santa Fe High School. I enjoy reading (all kinds of books), walking, swimming, watching movies and spending time outdoors and with my family. I became a teacher because I love sharing my excitement about languages and literature with students and helping them to reach their goals.  I believe that every student can be successful in school and in life and am committed to supporting each individual and maintaining a strong and respectful working relationship with students and parents. I welcome parent questions and involvement and look forward to working with all of you this year.

How to log into TEAMS to join your live class (for students)

Students will need to log into TEAMS for class each day using the correct link on the teacher's Canvas Home Page. Please do not use an old link as it will not work. Always go to Canvas and then from the Home page click on the live link next to your class period.  (Send me a message if you are having difficulty logging in.)

If teachers are absent for the day, there will be no meeting in TEAMS. There will be an assignment in Canvas for both virtual and face to face students to complete. Virtual students will get attendance credit that day by working in Canvas.
