About Mrs. Vaughn
I went to Baylor University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Science in Education. I was a teacher at La Marque High School then moved to Santa Fe High School. I have been in education for 39 years. I am certified in Technology Application, Technology Education, Social Studies, Journalism, Fine Art, English, Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Driver's Education. I am now a teaching Commercial Photography, Commercial Photography II, Principles of Human Services and Digital Media.
I have been married to Rick Vaughn for 38 years. We have lived in Santa Fe for 37 years. We raise all 5 of our children in this community. We have 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and are still active in our community.
I love teaching and preparing the students for their future. Career Technology Education is one of the most important areas to prepare the student for the working world. I expect the best of my students. Teaching is something I look forward to everyday as well as getting to know my students.
