This will be my 13th year teaching at Santa Fe High School and my 7th year doing Special Education. I'm the IST (Instructional Support Teacher) for Math. I coach football, basketball, and I'm the head softball coach.
I am a 2006 graduate of Texas City High School. Afterwards, I attended Galveston College and the University of Southern Arkansas, where I played baseball as well. In 2010, I was drafted to play professional baseball for the Arizona Diamondbacks, until an injury to my back ended my career. Afterwards, I worked for the City of Texas City helping with youth sports for two and a half years. Then, in May 2013, I graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and in the summer of 2013, I received a job offer to begin my teaching/coaching career in Santa Fe.
