Hello families!

My name is Melanie Daniel. I’m thrilled to be a 4th grade teacher this year at R.J. Wollam Elementary! I graduated from the University of Houston–Clear Lake with a bachelor’s in education. This will be my fifth-year teaching, and my first-year teaching fourth grade. I chose SFISD because this community has always felt like home to me and the kiddos make a huge impact on who I am as an educator. I’m so excited to be back at R.J. Wollam since my return from Alaska. I believe that learning should be engaging, meaningful, and fun, and I’m committed to helping each student grow academically and personally throughout the year.
