Hello families!

My name is Melanie Daniel. I’m thrilled to be a 3rd grade teacher this year at R.J. Wollam Elementary! I graduated from the University of Houston–Clear Lake with a bachelor’s in education. This will be my tenth year in education, and my fourth-year teaching third grade. I chose SFISD because this community has always felt like home to me and the kiddos make a huge impact on who I am as an educator.  I believe that learning should be engaging, meaningful, and fun, and I’m committed to helping each student grow academically and personally throughout the year.

🎉 Fun Facts About Me

Please make sure to download the Parent Square app.  This is our district wide communication source.  I will be posting upcoming events and any day-to-day information as needed.  This is also the fastest way to send me (and get a response) information if you have any questions or concerns.

I can’t wait to get to know each of you and work together to make this school year one to remember. Please feel free to reach out anytime—I’m here to support you and your child every step of the way.

Here’s to an amazing year in 3rd grade!
