A Little About Me

My name is Angellee Jones, I am thrilled to be your student’s Theatre teacher this year! This is my first year teaching at Santa Fe Junior High. I am a Santa Fe alumni, and I am honored to teach in the very room I first fell in love with Theatre. I am a product of Santa Fe’s very own Theatre program, and I am so passionate about continuing its legacy. Some of my passions include serving on the worship team at The Way Worship Movement, as well as helping with the youth group, where I have likely already met some of your students! I play lots of video games, and I love Dungeons & Dragons. I graduated with my bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Humanities and Business from Houston Christian University, and I have one year of education experience as a long-term Biology substitute.

A Little About My Class

In my class we will engage in a number of improvisational activities, games, as well as theatrical productions. This means we need 100% participation from EVERY student. Every exercise prepares students for roles on or off stage in a real production, so we take these games and exercises very seriously. Everyday, we will be moving, and engaged.
