Hi!  Welcome to our page.  We are excited to continue to provide speech therapy services at RJW Elementary during the 2022-2023 school year.  Speech/Language Pathology services address communication disorders/delays in a variety of areas such as articulation, language (expressive, receptive, and pragmatic), fluency, and voice.  We strive to make therapy fun yet productive in our quest to improve our students' abilities to communicate effectively with their peers and with adults.

Mrs. Saylor is beginning her 20th year as a Speech/Language Pathologist in Santa Fe ISD.  She is married and has 3 children, ages 12, 9, and 9 (all boys).  When not working, Mrs. Saylor enjoys playing the trumpet, reading, and cooking.

Mrs. Vawter is beginning her 16th year as a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant, 11 of those with Santa Fe ISD.  She is married and has 3 children, ages 15, 13, and 7 (2 boys and 1 girl).  Mrs. Vawter enjoys sitting outside to photosynthesize at lunch and kayaking in her free time.
