Andrew Krupski is a music educator in the state of Texas, and is the new Director of Bands at Santa Fe ISD. He recently graduated from Texas Tech University with a Master's in Music Education, where he served as a Graduate Part-time instructor/Teaching Assistant for Music Education. He also served as a field supervisor for student teachers, and a teaching assistant for Music Education - assisting with/instructing upper level undergraduate courses in band methods, technology in music education, and brass techniques. He was also a student in Dr. Sarah McKoin's graduate conducting seminar.

Mr. Krupski was appointed as the Director of Bands at the Hudson Independent School District in 2016. During his tenure, the band received first division ratings with both the marching and concert bands. The Jazz Ensemble placed third at the University of Texas Jazz Festival. The indoor percussion ensemble grew and was promoted to Scholastic A class during his tenure.  Mr. Krupski also started and taught the Advanced Placement Music theory program in Hudson, and was the only program to offer the class in Angelina County. In its first year,  the theory program had a 75% pass rate with the college board.  Mr. Krupski took the band to Orlando, Dallas, and Branson to work with collegiate directors.

As a professional in Texas, Mr. Krupski has been invited twice to attend the "Art of Band Conducting and Rehearsal" Workshop at the University of Texas with Jerry Junkin, Don Schleicher, Ryan Kelly, Scott Hannah, Richard Floyd, and H. Robert Reynolds in 2017, and again in 2018. He was also selected for the Baylor Conducting Symposium in 2016 with Professor Craig Kirchoff.

Krupski was appointed Director of Bands at Armwood High School in 2010. Under his direction, the Armwood Band has received multiple superior ratings at Music Performance Assessments - its highest and most consistent achievement in nearly a decade. He took over the Armwood High School Orchestra in 2011. The orchestra consistently received superior ratings at Music Performance Assessments. During his tenure at Armwood he also re-started the school's Jazz ensemble, and took the Band to Washington D.C. and New York City. Mr. Krupski also founded the Armwood Winter Guard, which won the State Silver medal on the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit in 2013.

Mr. Krupski previously served as Director of Bands and Orchestra at Buchanan Middle School from 2007-2010, where his bands and orchestra consistently received superior ratings. He also re-started the school's Jazz Ensemble, and grew the program to include a second full time music teacher. He was recognized by the Tampa Tribune for the revitalization of the music department and took the band to perform at The Florida State Fair, Universal Studios in Orlando, FL, and many other venues.

As a professional Music Educator, Mr. Krupski is a member of the Texas Music Educators' Association, The Florida Music Educators' Association, The Florida Bandmasters' Association, and the Florida Orchestra Association. Mr. Krupski served on the Legislative and Action Committee for the FMEA in 2014-2015 and was a presenter at the State convention for the FMEA in 2014 and 2016. Mr. Krupski was the Tom Bishop award nominee in 2011 District 7 of the Florida Bandmasters' Association for turning around a band program, and was nominated to the adjudicators' list for the Florida Orchestra Association, and the Solo and Ensemble Adjudicator List for the Florida Bandmasters' Association.

Mr. Krupski currently holds a professional teaching certification in the State of Texas.
