Coach Carney

This year I am teaching 6th-8th grade PE, 6th grade Pre-Athletics & 7-8th Grade Girls Athletics. I also coach 8th grade girls volleyball and 8th grade girls basketball. I have always loved sports!

I have been married to my husband, Cody for 20 years!  Our son, Cuyler is 14 and our son, Cullen is 12. My husband and I both served for 6 years in the United States Air Force.  After serving in the USAF as an instructor in-flight refueler, I decided to continue my love of teaching others by becoming a JH teacher.  I graduated from Troy University, Alabama with a Bachelors in Sports and Fitness Management with a minor in physical fitness.  I received my teacher certification in 2012 and I am looking forward to my 10th year teaching at Santa Fe Junior High. We will get through this together!

My current Class Schedule: 

1st period - 7:35-8:27 7th grade Athletics

2nd period - 8:30-9:22 6th Pre-athletics

3rd period - 9:25-10:17 6/7/8th grade PE

4th period - 10:20-11:44 6/7/8 grade PE

Lunch Break 11:47-12:17

5th period - 12:23-1:15 6th Pre-athletics

6th period - 1:18-2:10 Conference Period

7th period - 2:13-3:05 8th grade Athletics
