Mr. Duncan is entering his fourth year as the Associate Band Director at Santa Fe Junior High. He teaches all the beginning woodwind classes (flute, clarinet, and saxophone), assists with he Symphonic and Concert Bands, and directs the Concert Band at Santa Fe High School. Mr. Duncan graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Texas State University where he played lead alto saxophone in the Texas State Jazz Ensemble. He is currently working on a Master of Arts in Band Studies at Sam Houston State University. Mr. Duncan is also an active professional musician performing on all woodwinds and can often be found playing all types of music in the Houston and Galveston area.

Mr. Duncan is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America.
