Clayton Duncan

Clayton Duncan is entering his first year as a band director at Santa Fe Junior High where he will be direct the Concert Band and teach beginning flute, clarinet, and saxophone. Mr. Duncan graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Texas State University where he played lead alto in the Texas State Jazz Ensemble. Mr. Duncan has taught private music lessons in Clear Creek ISD, Katy ISD, and Fort Bend ISD and has worked with junior high bands in Katy ISD, Fort Bend ISD, and Lamar Consolidated ISD. Mr. Duncan is also an active professional musician performing on all woodwinds and can often be found playing all types of music in the Houston and Galveston area.

Mr. Duncan is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America.
