Mr. Duncan is entering his third year as the Associate Band Director at Santa Fe Junior High where he directs the Concert Band, assists with the Symphonic Band, and teaches the beginning flute, clarinet, and saxophone classes. Mr. Duncan graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Texas State University where he played lead alto in the Texas State Jazz Ensemble. Mr. Duncan has taught private music lessons in Clear Creek ISD, Katy ISD, and Fort Bend ISD and has worked with junior high bands in Katy ISD, Fort Bend ISD, and Lamar Consolidated ISD. Mr. Duncan is also an active professional musician performing on all woodwinds and can often be found playing all types of music in the Houston and Galveston area.

Mr. Duncan is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America.
