Welcome to 8th Grade English!

I'm Mrs. King! I'm happy to have you in my class

I grew up in Pearland and was involved in dance (high school drill team) and FFA (lambs) growing up

I went to Texas State University, where I studied English and psychology 

This will be my 5th year teaching English at Santa Fe Junior High and I love what I do! 

I have a few goals:

1. For every student to look forward to my class 

2. For my students to feel more confident about reading, writing, and speaking

3. For my students to leave 8th grade prepared for high school English
