Welcome to Kindergarten at Barnett Elementary! My name is Mrs. Sandra Agundez.  I will be your child’s Kindergarten teacher this school year 2022-23.  I have been married for 2 years. I was born and raised in Pearland, Tx, then moved to Santa Fe, then Dickinson, and now I'm back in my home town PEARLAND! 

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I am certified in Elementary Education, Elementary Reading, Special Education, and ESL. I have been teaching at Santa Fe ISD for 31 years. I have taught First Grade, Pre-K, PPCD/SOAR , and Kindergarten (half day and full day).

I have 2 sons: My oldest son Tyler and his wife Ashlee have been married for 3 years and have a 2 year old son, Daniel.  Tyler works as a Supervisor at a store and Ashlee is a nurse at a hospital. My youngest son Colton has an Engineering Degree and is working at a chemical company. His girlfriend, Rachel, is also attending U of H to earn her Elementary Education degree. She would like to be a First Grade Teacher.

My hobby include: exercising, bike riding, swimming, shopping, going to the movies, going out to eat, going to the beach and taking vacations.
